Many varieties of ants invade homes in Vaughan! Carpenter Ants are among the largest ants. These are wood chewing creatures.

Carpenter Ants usually damage wood when they nest inside our homes and offices. At times a sawdust-like material can be seen to have been ejected near their nesting location.

An interesting Fact: Ants take many quick naps during a day!

Carpenter ants mostly go on their foraging activities during the night. Usually they are interested in foods rich in Carbohyderates or Proteins.
